Entrepreneurship can be crazy at times. I’ve been at the top and at the bottom on several occasions already.
Today is day 2 of my daily documentation.
I didn’t really work on my business at all today. I made an embarrassing list of ways I could get my hands on some cash pronto, like today.
I called a real estate investor who owns a property on my street that’s currently vacant. I asked him if I cleaned up the yard if he’d Venmo me $60. He agreed. Not bad considering it took me about an hour and a half.
I then opened the bacon app (message me if you want a promo code). It’s an app that you can sign up for single shifts at local companies. I made another $70 putting together partitions for elementary school kids. Poor kids, this pandemic had made school pretty lame. This shift was 5 hours long. So I made $14 per hour. a fraction of what I would be making if I’d kept working hard on my business.
I did schedule a demo with a client for tomorrow which is great. If I can close this deal I can get back to the fun stuff.
Basically what I’m saying in this post is you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes and entrepreneurship is rarely glamorous. It’s a lot of dirty gritty work with a much bigger payout, but only if you stick it out till you win.
